Climbing at Mt Lemmon

We were beyond excited when our friend Andy invited us along for a day trip to climb at Smith Rock State Park. The morning started out chilly but as the sun came over the top we quickly warmed up. We found an open route at the Southern Tip which is great for beginners. We practiced lead and top rope ascents.

Mike and I took the longer way back to the car hiking Misery Ridge which takes you at the max of 3325 ft in evaluation. From here you can see Monkey Face from all the aligns and if you get lucky you may see some climbers on top.
