Memorial Day Weekend

The plan was a day trip at the coast but since the weather was so great we decided to camp.

We hit the road with the goal of napping on the beach to test out our new sleeping platform. The week before we had loaded the drawers with our camp kitchen. Luckily we both brought warmer cloths knowing the coast can get windy and be a bit chilly. The only thing preventing us from camping that night was a warmer blanket for sleeping and dinner supplies. A quick trip to Fred Meyer solved both these issues. 

We set off to the trees to find the perfect stop. It took some time but we found a little slice of heaven facing out towards the hills. Wiley adopted quickly to our new comforts and everyone was happy.
