Desert, bikes and hot springs

This was our first time experiencing Alvord Desert this early in the year. We were shocked at how green the landscape was and green means rain with mosquitoes. We were eaten alive! We loaded the 4Runner with the Honda CRF and meet up with our friend Eugene on his Kawasaki Versys. It was his first time exploring the Alvord Desert. The hot springs were perfect and the sunsets amazing. It was bit hot but we were excited to use our new awning which protected us from the sun. Alvrod Desert is a magical spot and is definitely worth a spring visit.
