New Zealand

One of our favorite trips was our 45 day adventure in New Zealand in November of 2013. We started in Auckland where we picked up our dodgy car rental and headed to our friend's parents house. We had an amazing Airbnb experience in Te Kuiti were we met a Māori chief and learned about their history. After the North Island we boarded the ferry in Wellington. The journey took 3 hours and the views along were breathtaking. We spent our last few weeks exploring Greymouth, Fran’s Josef, Milford Sound and Nelson. We put 4717 miles during our trip!
